Merchandising Specialist

Job Summary:

PepsiCo is seeking a skilled Merchandising Specialist to join our team. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for product merchandising within large volume stores. This includes stocking shelves, rotating shelved product, setting up displays, stocking and rotating products in coolers, organizing and rotating products in storage rooms, and moving products from storage to the sales floor.

This role interacts with personnel at the store location and requires a strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for merchandising store shelving, coolers, and displays with products in assigned accounts, rotating products in the backroom and on the shelf, transporting products to and from the backroom to shelf location, and using equipment to transport products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail operations, including inventory management and customer service. You will be responsible for building customer relationships at the store level and delivering exceptional customer service. Additionally, you will be required to operate under minimal supervision and use hand-held devices to write/input orders.

Key Responsibilities:

Merchandise store shelving, coolers, and displays with products in assigned accounts
Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf
Transport products to and from the backroom to shelf location
Use equipment to transport products
Display promotional material such as signs and banners in accounts
Keep backroom stock in neat and orderly condition
Communicate store issues to store managers and Pepsi management
Build customer relationships at the store level
Deliver exceptional customer service
Operate under minimal supervision
Use hand-held devices to write/input orders

Requirements:

18 years or older
Pass the physical capabilities test (if applicable)
Must have car or personal transportation to access multi-store locations within assigned shift
Valid U.S. Driver's License
Proof of insurance

Preferred Qualifications:

Working for a retail business or grocery store
Moving products within a store
Merchandising products
Managing backroom/stock room inventory
Serving customers
