Job Title: Corrections RN - Registered Nurse

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in a correctional facility in Kuna, Idaho. As a Corrections RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to inmates, promoting a safe and healthy environment, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.

Job Summary:

• Provide direct patient care to inmates, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
• Conduct health assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to promote patient well-being.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements:

• Active Idaho RN License
• Minimum 1-year prior nursing experience
• American Heart Association BLS
• Corrections nursing experience is a plus
• Applicant must be able to pass a background check before starting work
