Job Summary:
Planet Pharma is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tasks, including pipetting, operating laboratory equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate Pipetting and Laboratory Operations: Accurately perform pipetting and manual handling of liquids to prepare reagents, samples, and formulations.
- Laboratory Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain various liquid handling robots and other laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and high-quality output.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Perform routine and specialized quality control tests to verify the consistency and integrity of products.
- Lab Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, adhering to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Chemical Handling and Disposal: Handle preparation, storage, and disposal of chemical materials, ensuring compliance with all hazardous material guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Contribute to team efforts by completing additional tasks as needed, adapting to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
Requirements:
- Lab Techniques and Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in laboratory techniques, especially pipetting and the accurate preparation of solutions.
- Computer Systems Familiarity: Familiarity with computer systems for data entry and laboratory automation control.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Communication and Teamwork: Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience with SOPs, GMP, and quality control processes is preferred.
