Job Opportunity

Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled Dietitian Nutritionist to join their team at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare, a 140-bed Acute Care facility located in Morristown, TN.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units and outpatient oncology
  • Stay up-to-date with evidenced-based practice regarding the management of acute and chronic conditions
  • Work weekend rotation (one weekend day per month) providing hospital-wide coverage
  • Perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays
  • Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses
  • Precept Dietetic interns
  • Assist with Food Service Management as needed
Requirements
  • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
