Position Overview

Delaware North Sportservice is currently seeking part-time Event Beverage Servers to work at a premier venue. In this role, you will be tasked with serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages during various events, ensuring an outstanding experience for all guests.

Compensation

This position is classified as a tipped role, and the hourly minimum pay does not account for potential tips.

Hourly Rate: $16.15

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and set up the portable bar with necessary supplies
  • Organize wine and champagne service for meal functions
  • Maintain bar inventory and glassware, and be knowledgeable about drink recipes and pricing
  • Accurately measure all drinks and promote sales to guests
  • Ensure precise billing and complete money drops at the end of each shift
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Minimum of one year of bartending experience
  • Experience with credit card processing is required
  • Familiarity with computerized point of sale systems is necessary
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Work environment may have moderate to high noise levels during busy periods
Shift Information

Shifts may vary and include:
  • Day and evening shifts
  • On-call and split shifts
  • Weekdays and weekends
  • 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts
  • Event-based scheduling
  • Overtime as required
