We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at CareOne. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, visitors, and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Life Safety and Risk Management: Ensure the facility meets all state and federal regulations and codes, and identify and mitigate potential risks to residents, visitors, and employees.
  • Facilities Maintenance and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair various systems within the facility, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Administrator and Regional Director of Plant Operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the facility's operations and appearance.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and mentor maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of five years of experience in a working environment, and at least two years of experience in construction or a trade.
  • Management and Supervisory Experience: Minimum one year of management or supervisory experience, with a proven track record of leading teams and achieving results.
  • Skills and Qualifications: HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experience preferred, as well as prior experience in a healthcare environment with knowledge of state and federal guidelines.
