Project or Senior Engineer - Water and Wastewater

We are seeking an experienced Project or Senior Engineer with a proven track record of successful project delivery and client satisfaction in the water and wastewater industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engineering: Apply your expertise in water and wastewater utility engineering to solve client problems and enhance their operations, with a focus on water and wastewater pump station design and treatment design.
  • Project Management: Work collaboratively in a team environment, taking direction from a Project Manager and guiding Staff Engineers and CAD Designers to ensure project scope, schedules, and budgets are met.
  • Marketing: Develop and maintain client relationships, contribute to winning new projects, and actively network to lay the groundwork for future professional practice.
  • Mentoring: Train and mentor younger engineers, CAD Designers, and Project Assistants, with a focus on recruiting and developing talent.
Qualifications:
  • Education: B.S. in Civil Engineering, Water Resources, or a related field.
  • Certification: California PE Certification or the ability to attain a California Professional Engineering License within 1 year.
  • Experience: 6+ years in professional engineering, with a focus on water and wastewater systems.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of California regulations and existing local relationships.
