Psychiatric Therapist

As a Therapeutic Care Specialist at Maine Health, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to patients with acute psychiatric illnesses and co-occurring disorders. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with Daily Living Skills, follow treatment plans, and ensure a safe environment for all. You will also have the opportunity to accompany patients on transports, providing support every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist patients with Daily Living Skills, such as personal care and hygiene
* Follow treatment plans and ensure patients receive appropriate care
* Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
* Accompany patients on transports and provide support
Requirements:
* High School diploma and equivalent experience preferred
* Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Social Services preferred
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
