AHC Northbrooke is part of a network of skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities dedicated to supporting patients in their recovery from illness, injury, or surgery, as well as providing daily care for long-term residents. Our parent organization, American Health Partners, operates across multiple states.

Responsibilities of the Nursing Unit Supervisor:
As a Nursing Unit Supervisor, you will deliver personalized healthcare to residents while overseeing other caregivers to ensure the safety and comfort of those in our care.

Key daily responsibilities include:

- Delivering nursing care to residents, including prescribed treatments such as dressing changes, blood draws, catheter management, and laboratory work.

- Overseeing the daily operations of nursing aides and support staff
- Performing administrative tasks such as documenting assessments, managing inventory, and requisitioning supplies and equipment
- Managing the admission, transfer, and discharge processes for residents
- Executing emergency procedures, including CPR

Qualifications for Registered Nurses:
- Must hold a current license in the state of Tennessee or a compact state as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Current CPR certification is required
- The role involves frequent lifting of objects up to 50 pounds
- Responsible for supervising support staff, including training, scheduling, and performance reviews
