About the Role

We're seeking an experienced NDT Technician to join our team. In this full-time position, you'll be responsible for performing NDT operations, evaluating results, and inspecting piping, tanks, and vessels using radiography.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform piping/vessel inspections in a lay-down yard (Fab Shop) using radiography and report findings.
  • Train RT assistants, run films, and grade them per specific procedures directed by the customer.
  • Set up and calibrate equipment, interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Familiarize yourself with the scope and limitations of methods for which qualified and exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of trainees and NDT level I personnel.
  • Organize and report the results of NDT tests.
  • Generate NDT data, organize it, and report findings. Evaluate data for disposition.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to generate technical data orally, in writing, and electronically as required and appropriate.
  • 12 months prior NDT experience is necessary.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000-$75,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure reflects the competitive market rate for NDT Technicians in the industry.
