About the RoleThis position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where you'll have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in dermatology. You'll work closely with our experienced healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care, from initial consultations to ongoing treatment and follow-up.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and maximize patient participation in planning and care.
- Assist physicians and other providers with clinical procedures and participate in patient teaching.
- Provide direction and guidance to clerical assistants, medical assistants, and other non-licensed personnel.
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
- New York State (NYS) license with current NYS registration, in good standing.
- Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred).
- 1+ years of experience as a licensed practical nurse or 2+ years as a medical assistant in a dermatology setting (preferred).
- EPIC EMR experience (preferred).
