We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Specialist to join our team at an award-winning hospital in Georgia. This hospital offers over 50 specialties and is recognized for nursing excellence, being a Magnet Designated hospital.
This teaching hospital provides residency-training programs and advanced training for nursing students. Our Core Laboratory - Chemistry and Hematology Department, Blood Bank or Transfusion Services, and Microbiology teams are looking for experienced professionals like you.
As a Laboratory Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on day, evening, or night shifts (with flexibility) in various departments. We can accommodate different shift schedules, including 5x8s, 4x10s, or 7on/7off shifts.
To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology (or a related field). A certification as a MT OR MLS by the Board of Registry of ASCP (or equivalent) is also mandatory.
The compensation package includes a highly competitive hourly rate of approximately $85,000 per year, as well as a fantastic benefits package with a sign-on bonus or relocation assistance.
