Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Tech - Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.
  • Perform x-ray/imaging services according to provider orders and update patient charts accordingly.
  • Collect patient history and document EHRs appropriately.
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting.
  • Experience using an EHR system.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) required.
  • Radiological Technologist (RT) or Limited Scope Operator (LSO / LMRT) license required in state of residency.
  • Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) preferred.
  • Current BLS Certification required within 30 days of start.
