Litigation Specialist

In the role of Litigation Associate at Jobot, you will be part of a winning team with a solid track record of resolving complex litigation cases. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all phases of litigation from initiation to expert discovery in matters before state and federal courts, regulatory agencies, and other adjudicative bodies.
- Manage litigation cases and resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients by developing agreements, negotiating contacts, setting claims, and advocating for clients in court.
- Build relationships with clients and work closely with them to ensure their legal rights are protected and that they get the best possible results.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis of case laws, statutes, legal articles, codes, and other relevant material to establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Draft and review various legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, motions, appeals, contracts, etc.
- Provide legal advice to clients, present findings to colleagues, and represent clients in court during trials and hearings.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Member of the Bar of Massachusetts.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation.
- Proficiency in legal research and outstanding legal writing skills.
- Strong litigation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and courtroom advocacy skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team, showing initiative and drive.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality, with the ability to interact with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
