MRI Technologist Job Description

At Millennium Physician Group, we are seeking a skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our imaging team in the Venice, FL area.

This is a full-time opportunity offering a competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI exams according to established protocols and procedures.
  • Optimize the use of the MRI room to accommodate all scheduled and walk-in patients.
  • Answer patient questions before, during, and after procedures and tests.
  • Ensure all patient histories are thorough and previous films and reports are available for radiologists to review.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the MRI room and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited radiologic school.
  • Six months to one year related experience and/or training (preferred).
  • Active State of Florida Radiologic Technology license, BLS, National Registration RT(R), RT(MR) or exam pass within 1 year of start of employment.
