About the Position
We seek a Clinical Diagnostic Technologist to join our team at Prisma Health. This role involves operating radiologic equipment to create high-quality diagnostic images and performing routine diagnostic procedures as directed by healthcare providers.
Main Responsibilities
Positioning patients and adjusting equipment according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
Instructing patients and examining radiologic images for critical quality factors.
Developing and processing radiologic film for review by healthcare professionals.
Maintaining a safe and efficient examination environment, restocking supplies, and performing minor equipment repairs.
Coordinating patient records, logs, and communication between departments.
Performing additional tasks as needed to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
Requires an Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiology program.
No prior experience is necessary, but preference given to those with one year of physician practice experience.
Licenses and Certifications
American Registry for Radiology Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiology and SCRQSA licensure are essential requirements.
New graduates must obtain a Permanent SCRQSA license within 30 days of passing the ARRT registry and may work with a temporary B SCRQSA license for 30 days.
