Job Summary:

USPI Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Katy is seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining supplies, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our outpatient surgical center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures
  • Support the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center
  • Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and surgical outcomes
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program preferred
  • 3 years' experience as a Scrub Tech required
  • Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
  • CST Certification required
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management
  • Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment:

USPI Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Katy is a dynamic and fast-paced outpatient surgical center. As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will be working in a team environment with experienced medical professionals. You will be required to work weekdays only, with some early mornings and later evenings.
