Position Overview

The Cath Lab Technologist role involves providing essential support in catheterization laboratories across various locations. This position is ideal for professionals looking to expand their experience while traveling.

Certification Requirements
  • BLS Certification: Must be AHA certified.
  • ACLS Certification: Must be AHA certified.
Job Responsibilities
  • On-Call Duties: Required to be on call for one weekend each month and 1-2 days during the week.
  • ARRT Certification: Must possess current ARRT certification.
  • Scrubbing In: Ability to scrub in during procedures is necessary.
Professional Requirements
  • AHA Compliance: All certifications must be AHA compliant.
  • Annual Requirements: Compliance with annual requirements for all disciplines.
  • Clinical Specialization: Required annual compliance in specialty area.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with HIPAA, Joint Commission - NPSG, and OSHA topics is essential.
  • Residency Verification: If assigned in a state different from the home state, the address on the driver's license must match the home state for compact license eligibility.
  • References: At least two professional references must be completed prior to the first assignment.
Additional Information
  • Licensure Verification: Current license and primary source verification must be completed within 30 days prior to the start of the assignment for all licensed professionals.
  • Nursys Verification: Quick confirm verifications should be conducted for all APRN, RN, and LPN/LVN professionals.
  • License Activity Review: Nursys should be utilized to review all license activity across all states.
  • Physical License Copy: A copy of the physical license is not required.
  • Michigan Licensure: For nursing professionals, licensure verification must be conducted through LARA, not Nursys.
  • Education Validation: Educational credentials must be validated at the source level in accordance with applicable laws. Any discrepancies or unexplained gaps must be reviewed by a third party.
