Job Title: Dean of Students Elementary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dean of Students Elementary to join our team at Moffat County School District. As a key member of our administrative team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the academic and social success of our students.

Job Summary:

The Dean of Students Elementary will be responsible for providing leadership and support to our elementary school community. This includes developing and implementing strategies to promote positive student behavior, attendance, and academic achievement. You will work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans to support students with behavioral challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers and administrators to develop and implement academic and behavioral support plans for students
  • Provide guidance and support to students, parents, and teachers on issues related to student behavior and attendance
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies and organizations to provide support services to students and families
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in student management and attendance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Experience working with elementary students and families
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents
  • Knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and academic support plans
