As a vital member of our pharmacy team, you will work under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist to ensure the safe and effective distribution of medications. Your role will be essential in supporting the pharmaceutical care provided to our patients.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, store, and manage the distribution of medications efficiently.
  • Conduct inventory management and provide insights on medication procurement, including costs and availability.
  • Oversee medication expiration dates and manage the disposal of unused drugs responsibly.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to medication orders and inventory.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization within medication storage areas.
  • Perform regular inventory checks of controlled substances.

Qualifications:

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Certification: Must possess a valid Pharmacy Technician Registration upon hire.

Experience: A minimum of 6 years in a pharmacy setting is preferred.


Skills and Competencies:
  • Proficient knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical nomenclature.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members.
  • Ability to perform pharmaceutical calculations and understand relevant laws and regulations.
  • Familiarity with various pharmacy practice environments and procedures.
  • Attention to detail in verifying medication information and procedures.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and order processing.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position with varied shifts, including weekends.
