About the Team

Atrium Health Charlotte's Diagnostic Imaging Department is a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to providing high-quality imaging services to patients. We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our staff and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans and assist physicians/PA during invasive procedures, adhering to sterile technique and radiation safety standards.
  • Administer IV contrast according to departmental protocols, recording contrast type and amount as needed.
  • Evaluate image quality, recognizing abnormal anatomy to process additional images or measurements, and consult with radiologists as necessary.
  • Maintain knowledge of MRI safety requirements for both staff and patients while in and around magnetic fields.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA-approved program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology or active enrollment in a ARMRIT or ARRT registry-eligible program.
  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine with advanced registry from the ARMRIT or ARRT in MRI within one year of hire.
  • CPR certification required.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k retirement plan, and health savings account.
