We are seeking a dedicated Inpatient Registered Nurse for our Cardiovascular Surgery Operating Room. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic hospital environment.
As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver exceptional nursing care by:
- Assessing, planning, educating, implementing, and evaluating care tailored to the patient's age and needs, while incorporating family-centered principles.
- Collecting and analyzing patient data from medical records to ensure coordinated care.
Work Schedule:
Part-time with flexible shifts available:
- 10-hour shifts, with options for early or late start times.
- One day off each week, with weekends free.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients and their families, considering bio-physical, psychosocial, developmental, cultural, spiritual, and environmental factors.
- Engage patients and families in the development of care plans.
- Deliver high-quality, cost-effective care in collaboration with patients and their families.
- Evaluate and document patient responses to care, recognizing progress towards desired outcomes and discussing findings with patients and families.
- Contribute to the achievement of hospital and unit goals.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing, an Associate Degree in Nursing, or a Nursing Diploma, with current enrollment in a BSN program.
- Current licensure with the Board of Nursing for the State of Texas.
- A minimum of one year of professional nursing experience.
