ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Respond promptly to inquiries from guests and other departments.
  • Prepare cleaning carts with necessary supplies and transport them to designated areas.
  • Access guest rooms following established protocols, ensuring they are vacant before entry.
  • Restock guest amenities and supplies in rooms.
  • Replace soiled linens and towels with fresh items.
  • Thoroughly clean bathrooms.
  • Dispose of trash, soiled linens, and room service items appropriately.
  • Verify that all appliances are functional and present in the room.
  • Organize desk items, furniture, and appliances neatly.
  • Dust, polish, and remove stains from walls and furnishings.
  • Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security; report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and any incidents; complete necessary safety training.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Greet and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards; anticipate and respond to their service needs; assist guests with disabilities; express gratitude to guests sincerely.
  • Communicate effectively with others using clear and professional language.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve shared objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and expectations.
  • Lift, carry, push, pull, and position objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Perform tasks that require bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service with a friendly demeanor.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Execute other reasonable duties as assigned by Supervisors.
  • Maintain cleanliness and supply levels in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
  • Document rooms cleaned and track lost and found items, damages, and required repairs.
  • Prepare guest rooms to meet our hotel’s standards prior to guest arrivals.
  • Perform various cleaning tasks, including mopping, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, doing laundry, and stocking rooms as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a housekeeping role preferred.
  • Strong work ethic with excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
  • Good knowledge of cleaning techniques and products.
