Tennessee Wellness Center LLC Seeks a Senior Therapist

The Tennessee Wellness Center LLC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Therapist/Counselor to join our team. This role involves working closely with our medical team and other staff members to provide direct services and support to clients.

As a Clinical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in facilitating groups, individual therapy sessions, and communicating with the medical team about client issues. You will also be responsible for completing necessary documentation and ensuring that clients attend scheduled groups and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educate clients on addiction and recovery principles
  • Create a safe and supportive environment for clients
  • Complete EMR documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinate aftercare plans tailored to each client's needs
  • Ensure client attendance at scheduled groups and activities
  • Maintain accurate records of client and program data
  • Adhere to confidentiality requirements (HIPAA)
  • Maintain open communication with the medical and clinical team

Individual Therapy/Counseling:

  • Manage an active caseload of 7-13 clients, providing regular one-on-one therapy sessions
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions as designated by the group schedule
  • Provide timely updates to family members and complete all necessary authorizations related to insurance coverage

Group Therapy/Counseling:

  • Facilitate groups according to the designated group schedule
  • Assist in de-escalation of issues that arise in group settings
  • Communicate effectively with the treatment team regarding any problems or concerns
  • Develop new topics and educational materials for client education and awareness

Education, Experience, and Requirements:

  • A Master's degree or higher in a relevant field is required
  • Licensure consisting of LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT is essential
  • One to two years of experience in Mental Health/Substance Abuse treatment is preferred
  • A valid Driver's License is mandatory

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
