Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students' physical therapy needs and develop targeted treatment plans.
  • Provide direct physical therapy services to students in individual or group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support students' physical development and ensure seamless communication.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Educate school staff and parents on strategies to support students' physical development and participation in school activities, promoting a culture of inclusivity and accessibility.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Experience working with children or in a school setting is highly desirable, but not required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
