We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bakery Associate to join our team at Smith's Food and Drug. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience through exceptional service and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

• Provide outstanding customer service by answering questions, making product recommendations, and offering samples to help customers discover new items.
• Prepare bakery items to customer requests using proper bakery equipment and follow food safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock merchandise, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Collaborate with the department manager to achieve sales and profit goals and maintain quality assurance standards.
• Embody the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
• Effective communication skills and knowledge of basic math.
• Current food handlers permit once employed.
• Bakery experience and retail experience preferred.
