We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at NYU Langone Health. As a Nurse Practitioner School Health, you will play a critical role in ensuring patients receive timely and quality care in the appropriate setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct clinical care to patients assigned to you, adhering to applicable standards of care, LFHC policies, and Hospital policies.
- Participate in compliance, quality management, and performance improvement activities, including education and training efforts and audits of medical records.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, respecting cultural differences and individuality of internal and external customers.
- Communicate effectively with Primary Care Providers, ensuring seamless care coordination.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide collaborative care, ensuring continuity of care and cross-coverage for absent team members.
- Meet productivity expectations, maintain accurate and timely documentation, and participate in on-call phone coverage arrangements.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a professional degree program as an Adult, Pediatric, or Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Current license as an APN in NYS.
- Previous experience managing clinical and non-clinical staff is preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments independently.
- Ability to work collaboratively with fellow physicians and other healthcare providers.
