Job Overview

Salary: $15-$16 per hour

Position: Night Auditor (Full-Time)

Shift: 11 PM to 7 AM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct nightly audits of the hotel's financial transactions
  • Reconcile and balance financial accounts, ensuring compliance with established hotel standards
  • Verify guest account accuracy, including charges and credits
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner
  • Prepare and distribute daily financial reports to management and relevant departments
  • Ensure the security of the hotel premises during the night shift
  • Assist with check-in and check-out processes for guests during night hours
  • Complete end-of-day procedures, including posting charges and running night audit backups

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in night auditing, accounting, or a similar role within the hospitality sector
  • Strong knowledge of hotel management software and accounting systems
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively prioritize tasks
  • Familiarity with hotel operations (including front office procedures) is advantageous
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and night shifts
