Ultrasound Technician - Outpatient Care

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician with expertise in Radiology Breast Imaging to support our community-focused healthcare facility. In this role, you will conduct both routine and advanced imaging procedures, ensure patient comfort, assist Radiologists, and manage the operation and upkeep of imaging equipment while adhering to quality assurance protocols.

Primary Duties:
  • Accurately positioning patients for imaging examinations
  • Providing assistance to physicians during imaging procedures
  • Conducting quality assurance checks on imaging equipment
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Processing and managing imaging results and reports
  • Engaging professionally with patients and healthcare staff
Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited ultrasound training program
  • ARDMS certification or ARRT experience preferred for ACR accreditation
  • Commitment to ongoing education for certification maintenance
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
