Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. As a key member of our Community Practice Medicine department, you will be responsible for performing interventional radiology procedures on adult patient populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with performing diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures
  • Prepare patients for procedures by reviewing medical history, draping and positioning the patient, and administering contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice
  • Provide direct patient care specific to their discipline, including assisting with imaging and diagnostic procedures
  • Practice established principles of radiation safety and protection
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program
  • 2 years of experience with interventional procedures
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification
  • Registration from the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists (AART)
