Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management: Recruit, hire, train, and coach a high-performing team of caregivers and support staff.
- Operational Oversight: Plan, organize, and develop the overall operation of the Assisted Living Neighborhood, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that the community follows all Sunrise Senior Living standards and guidelines, and that resident care and services meet the highest standards.
- Financial Management: Assist the Executive Director in completing the annual community budget and manage the department budget to ensure financial sustainability.
- Communication and Collaboration: Partner with the leadership team to ensure community compliance with OSHA requirements and attend regular meetings to stay informed and aligned with company goals.
- Experience: Minimum one year supervisory/management experience in assisted living or long-term care, including hiring, coaching, performance management, employee relations, and supervision of daily operations.
- Education: BA/BS degree may be required based on state requirements.
- Skills: Demonstrated good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office; effective organization, time management, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Personal Qualities: Ability to handle multiple priorities, delegate assignments, and demonstrate a dedication to seniors and their well-being.
