Inova Health System is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to lead our Trauma ER - Emergency Room team as a Supervisor. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our Level 1 Trauma Center.
About the Role:- Lead a team of experienced RNs in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the Trauma ER - Emergency Room unit.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and staff engagement.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Participate in unit-based shared governance and decentralized decision-making structures to drive positive change.
- At least one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience, preferably in a Trauma ER - Emergency Room setting.
- More than 2 years of Registered Nurse clinical experience specific to the focus of nursing unit preferred.
- Associate Degree RNs within one year of completing their BSN.
- BSN or MSN preferred.
- BLS required. Specialty certification (as required by unit) within 1 year of hire.
- Licensed to practice as an RN in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
