About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Full-Service Veterinary Hospital Veterinarian to join our team at Petco. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth of a productive practice while focusing on a high-standard of care.

  • The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be comfortable performing anesthesia and routine surgeries, and have experience working with electronic medical records.
  • They will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care by performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating diseases, and providing preventive care according to patient signalment, lifestyle, and environment.

The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.
  • Active licensure as a veterinarian without contingencies in the state where the hospital is located or ability to obtain by start date.
  • Current DEA license.
