Job Summary:As a Travel Nurse RN, you will provide high-quality patient care in a hospice setting. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver compassionate and individualized care to patients with terminal illnesses, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Conduct thorough assessments, documenting patient progress, and reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in patient and family education, promoting understanding of hospice care and supporting patients' end-of-life decisions.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in hospice care or a related field.
