Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Stater Bros. Markets. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting and preparing their meat purchases, as well as maintaining the display cases and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers in selecting and preparing their meat purchases, including slicing, tenderizing, and packaging.
  • Grind, cut, trim, wrap, and tenderize meats to meet customer specifications.
  • Price and display items for sale in a visually appealing manner.
  • Maintain the display cases and ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a meat cutting or butchery role preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
