Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Med Surg

Baptist Works is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Med Surg to join our team in Montgomery, Alabama.

Job Summary:

The Travel Nurse RN Med Surg will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a Med Surg setting. This is a 13-week contract with 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, days.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide general supervision and coordination of nursing personnel on days, evening, nights, and weekends.
  • Ensure quality and continuity of patient care.
  • Accept and support the philosophy, purpose, and objectives of Baptist Health and the Department of Nursing.
  • Position requires successful passage of RN examination, a current AL nursing license, and 1 year of experience in the area applied for.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Additional specialty certification for assigned unit as applicable (PALS, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS).
  • Ability to observe, assess, and record work, safety, and infection control standards.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns.
