We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Lead Preceptor Nurse to join our team at Ascension. As a Lead Preceptor Nurse, you will play a critical role in the development and growth of our nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that all aspects of care are met.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines, ensuring well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
