We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Overnight Custodian to join our team at Planet Fitness. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, providing exceptional member service, and contributing to a positive and welcoming environment for our members.
Responsibilities- Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure that all areas of the club are clean and well-maintained, including the gym, locker rooms, and common areas.
- Member Service: Assist members at the welcome desk, provide tours, and support with member enrollment and other club responsibilities.
- Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrate leadership skills, be passionate about your work, and have fun while inviting members to do the same.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Passion for Serving Others: Demonstrate a genuine passion for serving others and providing exceptional customer service.
- Custodial Experience: Previous experience in custodial or maintenance roles is highly desirable.
- Initiative and Dependability: Show initiative to get the job done without supervision and be dependable, with a strong commitment to on-time attendance.
- Physical Demands: Be able to communicate effectively, stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50lbs, reach, climb, balance, and handle potentially hazardous chemicals.
- Language Skills: Ability to speak, understand, read, and write English fluently, with bilingual skills in Spanish a plus.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
