**Grooming Salon Leader Role Summary**

This position is responsible for leading the operations of the grooming salon, achieving targeted goals and driving results to grow the business. This includes overseeing daily operations of the salon, training and coaching staff, and providing exceptional customer service to all pet parents and their dogs.

**Key Responsibilities**

As a Salon Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining regular and predictable attendance
  • Working scheduled shifts and having the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as dictated by business needs
  • Supporting selling initiatives, including thanking customers, engaging with customers and/or pets, advising products or services, and making it memorable
  • Performing a combination of duties, including managing day-to-day operations, assisting with hiring and onboarding, partnering with the Store Manager, driving salon growth, leading the salon team, providing professional grooming services, and ensuring the safety and well-being of animals

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • The ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

**Working Conditions**

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels. You will be exposed to wet conditions, sharp grooming instruments, perfumed shampoos and soaps, pets, and pet waste. You will also be required to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.

**Physical Requirements**

This role requires standing for long periods, lifting and moving up to 50 pounds, and utilizing grooming instruments, including shears and dryers.
