Inova Health System is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Educator to join our team at Fairfax Hospital. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering simulation-based educational programs to enhance the knowledge, skills, and teamwork of our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and deliver simulation-based educational programs to support Inova Health System's goals and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create engaging and effective educational experiences.
- Coach and mentor nursing staff in simulation facilitation and provide feedback to improve their skills.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical and healthcare simulation best practices and standards.
- Travel to Inova care sites to facilitate simulation-based education and provide coaching and teaching to healthcare educators.
- Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Education, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of progressive experience in nursing or a clinical specialty, with at least 3 months of experience as a preceptor.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Specialty certification in a related area within one year of hire.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
