Job Title: Anesthesiology Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Anesthesiology Specialist to join our team at Shenandoah Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in anesthesia care and a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer general anesthetics to render patients insensible to pain during surgical, obstetrical and other medical procedures.
• Monitor vital signs during the course of the procedure and take necessary action to ensure a near-normal physiological status of the patient.
• Determine, set up and prepare necessary drugs, supplies and equipment for the administration of anesthetics.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Perform and maintain documentation of patient assessments, interventions and outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare team members regarding patient condition, nursing plan of care and patient satisfaction needs.
• Promote and ensure patient and staff safety in all aspects of responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in anesthesia care.
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia principles, practices and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
