Paxful, Inc is a leading fintech company with a strong presence in the global market. We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Software Architect in Finance to join our team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. As a seasoned professional in finance, you will bring expertise in leading problem-solving, driving coding excellence, ensuring comprehensive testing, and adopting scalable and secure software implementations.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions that exceed customer expectations. Your exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills will enable you to navigate complex financial technology contexts and drive results.

Requirements
  • Past experience within the fintech sector or understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and security best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with product, engineering, and other departments.
  • Able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must be located in the Americas or Europe (between time zones UTC-5 and UTC+3).
Qualifications
  • Solid track record of over 10 years demonstrating mastery of JavaScript, mainly in production frontend applications.
  • Extensive experience in working with React for delivering pixel-perfect applications and high-end animations using micro frontends.
  • Solid experience in debugging and optimizing the performance of web applications for multiple browsers and viewports, as well as PWAs.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in working with APIs using industry standards like REST, GraphQL, and WebSockets.
  • Proven experience in state management for large scale applications.
  • Knowledge of software for interface prototyping and wireframing like Figma.
  • Understanding of Git and branching models for coordination with team members.
