The Mental Health Association is a leading organization in promoting mental health and integrating physical healthcare to improve the care and treatment of individuals with mental illness.

As a Clinical Co-Responder, you will be part of a team that makes a difference in the lives of our consumers. You will work closely with the Mount Olive Police Department to provide effective crisis response and de-escalation strategies for community mental health/justice involved individuals.

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to fill this full-time position. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree and a License in Social Work or Counseling, with experience in crisis response and de-escalation techniques.

You will be responsible for providing co-responding efforts to identify mental health and crisis response incidents in the community, collaborating with the Police Department within Mount Olive Township. This includes responding to calls in conjunction with the Mount Olive Police Department for cases involving mental health concerns.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will also be responsible for developing systems for ongoing follow-up with community members in need of connections to social services. This may include direct follow-up with identified clients and collateral contacts as needed to facilitate access to appropriate services.

Other key responsibilities include record keeping, reports, and documentation in accordance with program requirements, as well as being on-call and available to the Mount Olive Police Department during scheduled work hours via cell phone.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience, along with excellent benefits, including fully paid medical coverage, a generous 401(k) match, plentiful paid holidays, vacation, personal, and sick time.
