Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Oregon State Hospital. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical/psychiatric nursing care and treatment to patients under the supervision of the RN.
- Administer medications as ordered by the provider and complete focused assessments.
- Respond to emergent psychiatric situations that could potentially be dangerous.
- Assist in providing a safe, secure environment and contribute to the maintenance of the therapeutic milieu.
Requirements:
- Possess a valid Oregon Practical Nurse License at the time of appointment.
- Experience working in mental health is desired.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple job responsibilities at one time.
