Job Title: Senior Transportation Project Manager

At Hanson Professional Services, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transportation Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing complex transportation projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple transportation projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT), to drive repeat business and growth.
  • Collaborate with technical staff and construction contractors to develop comprehensive project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Lead project teams, delegating tasks and responsibilities to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Monitor project performance, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and adapting to changing project constraints.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project management plans, including risk management, communication, health and safety, and quality control.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing complex transportation projects, with a strong understanding of TXDOT guidelines and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges, particularly in navigating TXDOT's regulatory landscape.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Knowledge of accounting terms relevant to project-level financial analysis, including earned value methodology and project control mechanisms.
