We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recreational Therapist PRN to join our team at HCA Florida JFK North Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in planning, organizing, and implementing a comprehensive program of life skills development and therapeutic recreation for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assess each patient's level of functioning to include comprehension, performance capabilities, interactive, and ADL skills, as well as receptiveness to treatment.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Perform and document procedures and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans for each patient.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Bachelor's Degree in Recreational Therapy.
- CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) Certification.
