Position Summary:

We seek a dedicated and motivated individual who shares our passion for sustainable farming and animal care. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in livestock management and a strong commitment to our mission. This part-time role involves working on a diverse farm that includes cattle, sheep, pigs, chickens, and turkeys, focusing on a rotational grazing system.

The responsibilities of the Agricultural Technician include:

• Conducting daily feeding and health assessments for livestock.
• Maintaining animal habitats and ensuring proper sanitation.
• Implementing pasture management techniques, including fencing and water supply checks.
• Operating farm machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assisting with educational programs related to sustainable agriculture.

Key Requirements:

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physical capability to lift and transport 50 lbs.
• Availability to work part-time, primarily on weekends.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel to various farm locations as needed.
• Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
