Key Responsibilities:
As a School Bus & Van Operator at VAT Inc., you will embark on a fulfilling journey where safety and reliability are paramount. Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely transporting students to and from school, ensuring punctuality and comfort throughout the journey.
- Conducting thorough pre- and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety.
- Reporting any incidents or concerns to supervisors promptly, prioritizing passenger safety.
- Keeping the vehicle clean and organized to create a pleasant environment for passengers.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this rewarding position, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a GED or High School diploma.
- Successfully complete an annual T-8 and DOT physical examination, along with a DOT drug screening.
- Maintain a clean BCI and FBI record in accordance with ODE regulations.
- Have no more than 2 points on your driving record and no DUI convictions.
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs to assist passengers as needed.
