Farm Laborer

Job Summary

Pacific Seafood is seeking a detail-oriented and physically capable Farm Worker to assist with various tasks in their aquaculture farm. In this role, you will work closely with the farm team to ensure the efficient growth and care of fish populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct general fish husbandry tasks such as counting, harvesting, and taking inventory.
• Perform general labor tasks as assigned by the farm management.
• Assist with farm organization and clean-up as directed by the team leader.
• Participate in building projects as assigned to support the farm's infrastructure.
• Enter data into the company computer database as directed by the IT department.
• Operate various farm equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and farm boats.
• Maintain farm safety at all times and comply with company health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of six months related experience in construction, manufacturing, farming, or a related industry.
• Experience with the safe operation of forklifts and powered pallet jacks is required.
• Prior boat operator experience or license is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required for this position.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
