Custodian - Smilow Campus

RePublic Schools is seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team at the Smilow Campus in Jackson, MS. As a Custodian, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our scholars and staff.

• Clean and sanitize all areas of the facility, including restrooms, classrooms, and common areas
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and unclogging drains
• Assist with event setup and cleanup, including moving furniture and equipment
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptly

• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
• Reliability and strong work ethic
